Which Delivery Service Should I Choose?

Our customers have varied pickup and delivery requirements which are driven by the industry they represent and/or the necessity of getting their parcel delivered within a certain timeframe. To address the customer’s need to get their packages delivered within their desired timeframe, Armex Courier offers different delivery tier services. Such as: On-Demand                 Picked up and delivered within 2 hours                 Picked up and delivered within 4 hours                 Picked up and delivered the same day                 Picked up and delivered within 24 hours Scheduled                 Picked up 24 hours after placing an order                 Usually delivered within 2-24 hours based on the customer’s requirements Recurring                 Similar to a Scheduled delivery service except the order repeats itself on a consistent and recurring basis. Routed                 A routed delivery service involves 2 or more stops. For example, the mailman drives the same route, day in and day out, with stops at each mailbox in between. So which delivery method is best? On-Demand, Scheduled, Recurring or Routed delivery services? That depends on what your delivery needs are. What exactly does On-Demand delivery mean? It means that the customer can choose when and where they want the products delivered. Armex Courier will provide the available methods of delivery to offer to the customer from which they can choose from. The customer gets to decide according to the preferred schedule. Not only that, but with some on-demand delivery solutions, the customer can choose where they want their products delivered. Now, they can receive the goods at their doorstep, at the neighbor’s house, or even at their holiday destination. How does the On-Demand delivery work? Usually, the customer places an order for the delivery and Armex Courier will pick up the parcel from the sender’s place then deliver to the receiver as instructed. Rates for after-hours and weekend, pickup and delivery, will usually incur an additional fee which will be discussed up front and before the order is placed. These are some of the benefits that come with the On-Demand delivery, but they are not limited only to these, and the list can be increased depending on the agreement between Armex Courier and their customer.The customer can choose and change the delivery date.The customer chooses the place of delivery or what they consider another safe location.The customer can request the package to be delivered to the neighbor’s house.The customer can choose an alternate address.Scheduled Services With so many advantages of On Demand services why would anyone choose to use a Scheduled Service? Probably the biggest reason a customer would choose a Scheduled delivery service is because it is less expensive when compared to the On-Demand service. And why is it less expensive? Because it allows us, Armex Courier, to plan and position our drivers to handle the order without having to shift driver locations at the last minute, and those savings are passed on to the customer at a lower rate.
